Freddy Krueger will be the face of Fant on its 30th anniversary

He Bilbao Fantastic Film FestivalFant, has chosen one of the great icons of horror cinema, Freddy Krueger, played by actor Robert Englund, as an image on its 30th anniversary, as reported by the City Council.
The protagonist of Wes Craven’s “A Nightmare on Elm Street” will be the face of the poster for the new edition of Fant, which will take place from May 3 to 11.

This year, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the film’s release, a close-up of this “lewd, ironic and disturbing villain” makes up the advertising poster.
The film that inspires the poster can be seen, in its original version subtitled in Spanish, as the first screening of this year’s Pre-FANT cycle, next Thursday the 15th, at 7:30 p.m., in Room 1 of the Golem Cinemas -Alhóndiga.
Admission will be free, although it will be necessary to collect it in advance, at the box office, on the same day from 4:30 p.m.
