It all depends on the coach, the city and the chosen option. In the weekend version, they can cost up to PLN 6,000. zloty. As Karolina Rogaska writes, trainers “do not complain about the lack of clients.” The advice they sometimes give is widely criticized not only by feminist circles.

Negating everything a woman says, not listening when she says “no”, showing your dominance, strange and disconnected from reality recommendations are just a few examples. Home-grown pick-up artists are often inspired by what similar groups in the United States advise. They promise quick success by selling “magic tricks”.
– It starts with free videos on YouTube and advice on what to do to “have women”. This content is usually very difficult to watch and read – said Oktawia Kromer in an interview. Trainers advise to train pick-up skills at the beginning in shopping centers. There, students approach girls and try to put the advice into practice. The main ones are “negs”, which is a combination of a compliment and an insult. – They are supposed to help seduce the object of interest, while lowering his self-esteem – he adds. Objective? For many “pick-up artists”, the most important thing is to pick up as many women as possible. What matters here is not quality, but quantity. Sometimes the only goal is simply to get as many phone numbers as possible, but not to establish further contact or . However, in the community of pick-up coaches there are those who are far from such advice.

At the beginning, he himself was a client of such “pick-up artists”. – This was advice divorced from reality. The key to building relationships or flirting is your attitude towards yourself. He also talked about his clients. He admitted that, contrary to stereotypes, the vast majority of his clients hope to create a permanent and long-term relationship, not a short adventure ending in bed. They were also surprised when they heard from him that they would not learn any manipulations and “magic tricks”. During the courses, they work on themselves, learn to recognize emotions in another person, but also how to accept rejection. When he sees such a need, he sends his clients to psychotherapy. – I have guests who come to me with complexes and write after the course that I have changed their lives – he admits.
