It is no secret that Miszczak’s presence at Polsat significantly improved viewing results, all because of the changes he started introducing from the very beginning. He transformed the station’s flagship programs and made several controversial changes. Therefore, many were curious about his opinion on the revolution that has been taking place on Polish Television for several weeks. In an interview, he admitted that he did not intend to judge his colleagues and the decisions they make, but he did not hide the fact that the public broadcaster needed revolutionary changes in its structure. – I don’t criticize my colleagues. They need to change this television. Contrary to everyone, I say that this television needs to be changed somehow, he emphasized.
At the same time, he noticed that the former president, Jacek Kurski, was able to easily read the viewers’ needs and respond to them. It is true that he did not support the direction in which the station was developing at that time, but he cannot deny that it acted adequately to the needs. – For me, Jacek Kurski was a great formatologist. It’s true that he did it in the wrong direction for me, but the fact is that it was very logical – he said honestly.
Is there a place at Polsat for dismissed TVP employees? Miszczak says it straight
During the interview, the issue of former TVP employees who are now actively looking for employment with competitors was also raised. he does not hide the fact that some of his colleagues have quite radical views on this subject and are not willing to cooperate with those who have been dismissed. However, he approaches it coolly and prefers to analyze each case separately. – I believe that today we will not dump various people onto public television. I believe in the nominations that are there. I believe that the guys will find the right direction, but it is very difficult, he said bluntly. – Public television is always political somehow. These vectors are flowing somewhere. One of my colleagues from Polsat said that we will not accept fugitives from public television. I wouldn’t be that radical. Runaways are one thing and those released are another thing, he said.
At the same time, he also assessed the new position of the host of the Polsat program for a decade, and has now joined the group of presenters of “Pytania na śnidanie” on TVP. Miszczak does not hide that the decision to end this cooperation was not easy and was filled with many doubts, which is why it is difficult for him to say whether he made the right decision. However, there is no doubt about one thing. – I think it was a difficult move. I don’t know if it was fair, I don’t want to go into those decisions, but Dowbor was good for Mrs. Kasia, he said.
