Wiesław Orłowski is dead. The actor known from “Young Wolves” was 61 years old
According to the theater, the actor’s funeral ceremony will take place on Friday, February 9, in the Main Chapel at the Central Cemetery in Szczecin. The artist also collaborated with the Polish Theater, the Castle Opera, the Krypta Theater and Willa Lentz. “A good and needed man was taken away from us,” we read in the farewell entries.
Wiesław Orłowski was born in 1962. He attended the Academy of Music in Wrocław and studied at the Vocal and Acting Faculty. For years he was an actor and singer. In the years 1991-2013 he performed at the Contemporary Theater in Szczecin (in the years 1994-95 also at the Szczecin Opera and Operetta), and in the years 2013-2019 at the Polish Theater in Szczecin. In 2019, he joined the Contemporary Theater again. He died on February 5, 2024 at the age of 61.
In 1995, the actor appeared in the cast of the film “Gnoje”. He not only starred in the production, but was also responsible for performing the music and served as the director’s assistant. In the same year, he also starred in the famous film “Young Wolves” by Jarosław Żamojda, with Jarosław Jakimowicz and Piotr Szwedes in the main roles. He played the episodic role of a customs officer.
Over the years, he continued his theater career and rarely appeared in films. He appeared in the cast of “Teraz Ja” in 2004, and seven years later he played in the television play “Track about Mother and Homeland”.
