Katarzyna Dowbor hosted “” in Polsat for 10 years. She was not only the host, but also a huge support for the production participants who had to talk about their greatest traumas in front of the cameras. In 2023, there was a change. Dowbor’s place was taken by Elżbieta Romanowska, and the decision caused outrage among the fans of the previous host and rumors about the origin of such a decision.

Miszczak commented on Dowbor’s career development after leaving “Nasz Nowy Dom”

One of the reasons mentioned was the desire to “rejuvenate” the program. This particularly offended Dowbor, who in an interview quoted by Wirtualna Polska admitted that accusing her of “slowing down” the development of the format was very inelegant.

Edward Miszczak, responsible for staff replacement, also commented on the changes. “My favorite format is ‘Our New Home’ in the version we are preparing now. The change is that we do not deal only with walls and we do not only renovate walls, but we also deal with people. As we see, in the family there are some problems, e.g. of a psychological nature, we are trying to deal with it,” he said in an interview with “Super Express”.

Miszczak clearly does not regret his decision, on the contrary. Polsat’s program director seems to partly attribute to herself the subsequent professional challenges that awaited Katarzyna Dowbor after leaving the “Nasz Nowy Dom” program. “Ms. Kasia used a nice drive around her, spread her nice sail and sailed to ‘Pytanie na ¶śnidanie’, I see her in many advertisements,” she emphasizes.

The statement also included a rather sarcastic remark. “I think she took advantage of the situation of the ‘bad man at Polsat’ who hurt her so that the world would compensate her and make amends,” Miszczak added.
