Justynka, the several-year-old daughter of Kasia and Michał, wanted to be like the famous Nela the Little Reporter. The whole family loved animals and helped them when necessary. Naturally, they also have them in their house, and a year ago they even had squatters on the balcony. It is true that almost all the neighbors in the block were furious, especially the closest ones, but the family could not imagine getting rid of the animals from the balcony, who quickly settled in and trusted them. At one point there were even threats.

In addition to helping animals, the family also loves traveling. Their daughter Justynka much prefers watching local animals – the sea world, reptiles or birds – to playing in the sand. For some time, pigeons kept coming to their balcony. They tried to shoo them away, but it turned out that they were ineffective. The pigeons managed to build a nest in the box with soil. When the parents noticed how excited their daughter was about this fact, they did not think about getting rid of the nest. “It’s easy to guess what happened next. The gray dove laid eggs and incubated them alternately with her partner. Justynka begged us not to throw away the eggs. We would never do that.” – we read on the Mamadu website. At first the pigeons were a bit afraid, but they quickly started to trust the family. They didn’t even run away.

The family watched the pigeons hatch eggs and even fed them themselves with special grains bought at a pet store. The neighbors tolerated this situation for a long time. However, they quickly began to show their dissatisfaction, especially with the noises coming from the balcony. They accused the family of increasing the possibility of bird flu infection. However, the parents were not going to do anything until the little chicks became independent and flew out of the nest. They tried to explain it to the neighbors, but their limits of patience had long been exceeded. When they started threatening to report to the appropriate services and authorities, Kasia and Michał began to explain that they were doing all this for their daughter Justynka. The neighbors did not accept this with understanding, but fortunately they did not carry out the threats. Fortunately, the pigeons soon flew out and the neighbors breathed a sigh of relief.
These birds destroy and pollute their places of residence. The uric acid contained in their excrements penetrates the facades of buildings and destroys their structure.
