Marzec accepted the offer from Telewizja Polska and started working on materials for the new “19.30” news service. The journalist’s first reportage appeared on the air on December 23, but already at the beginning of the year rumors began to circulate that the journalist would not stay on Telewizja Polska for long. Soon, Marc’s reports disappeared from “19.30”, and rumors about his departure from TVP intensified.
Now we know that Tomasz Marzec has had one of the shortest careers in the history of TVP, and certainly in the history of television created anew by the new authorities. In an interview with Wirtualna Polska, the journalist laughed that he left his job sooner than he was officially employed there. Apparently he signed the contract and the notice of termination at the same time.

“I imagined it completely differently,” the journalist explains the reasons for resigning from his new position so quickly. “Both in terms of substantive, purely professional issues, but also those related to ‘work culture’. The situation is so bizarre that I may face certain consequences for even talking about it, so I will stop there, because from my point of view perspective, this water is not crystal clear,” emphasizes Tomasz Marzec.
The Wirtualne Media portal contacted the head of the “19.30” editorial office, Paweł Płuska, who confirmed that the journalist no longer works at the news site that replaced “Wiadomości”, but did not comment on the situation.
Tomasz Marzec has been associated with the media for almost 20 years. He started his professional career at Radio Opole, where he joined after his fourth year of studies. Then he moved to Polskie Radio, with which he ended his cooperation after four years for the TVN Group.
