The company announced what we can expect in 2024, and more important than what we will see is what will definitely not be there yet.

At the beginning of February, Netflix has prepared a real treat for fans – a preview of the most important titles we will see this year. They will return, among others: the bloody “Squid Game” competition, we will see the live-action version of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” or the long-awaited “Bridgerton” fans. And these are only series – there are also full-length film productions that Netflix releases more and more willingly. What is the list of the most important news for 2024?

- “Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Cargiver” – the second part of Zack Snyder’s blockbuster, which, however, met with very low ratings from both critics and viewers. It was known that there would be a second part, because the first one already had in the title the indication that – yes, yes – it was the first part. Premiere on April 19.
- “Six Triple Eight” – The story of the first women’s troops during World War II.

- “Avatar: The Last Airbender” – a live-action version of the anime that fans are eagerly waiting for. Looking at the first announcements, the series may meet their expectations 100%. The premiere is coming soon, on February 22.

Netflix. We will NOT see this in 2024
Netflix was hit hard by last year’s American strikes by actors and screenwriters. This is visible in the list of productions that will be released on the platform this year. The great absentee is, among others, “Stranger Things”. The producers of the series, the Duffer brothers, already warned in May last year that there were problems, and since the agreements with the trade unions were signed only at the end of September, work on the set started… in January. Therefore, we will see “Stranger Things” at the beginning of next year at the earliest.
There is also no doubt that we will not see the next part of “The Witcher” – for exactly the same reason. Work on the second season of last year’s hit “One Piece” has not yet started; work on “Wednesday 2” has only just begun. Only next year will we see Jan Holoubek’s new series about the Heweliusz ferry disaster.
