Mateusz Morawiecki and Jarosław Kaczyński inaugurated the creation of the Work Team for Poland on Tuesday. – We want to propose a formula for working for Poland within various expert circles, but together with politicians, not necessarily from our option. We have three main goals: developing a program framework based on what we proposed a few months ago and searching for new paths that will be interesting for society – said Jarosław Kaczyński.
Jarosław Kaczyński had a fight with a TVN24 journalist
During the first meeting, politicians discussed the future of the Central Communication Port. Similar consultations within the team appointed by PiS are to be held every week, and each of them will be devoted to a different topic.
After the meeting, the president of Law and Justice went to a press conference, where he made a statement. Then it was time for questions from journalists. Jarosław Kaczyński did not particularly like this question asked by the TVN24 reporter. The journalist asked the PiS president about his statement in which he compared the current prime minister to Adolf Hitler.
– This is a fragmentary comparison, unfortunately today we are dealing with a situation where the law as written is clearly being violated. Donald Tusk used the term: “law as we understand it.” Unfortunately, this analogy imposes itself in this episode. And not, for example, in the case of genocide or other crimes committed by Hitler – replied Jarosław Kaczyński, and then accused the journalist of representing the Civic Platform.
– I do not represent any party, I am a journalist and I ask questions at the press conference – the reporter countered, but the PiS president continued to deny it. – I’m conscious and I see it, but I also see you asking questions. This is about the role of TVN in general and please allow me to remain the representative of the view that TVN is a media formation very closely linked to the currently ruling party – commented Kaczyński.
