Maciej Kawulski is responsible for the new “Mr. Kleks’ Academy”, and the script for the film was created by Krzysztof Gureczny and Agnieszka Kruk. Everyone involved in the work on the adaptation of the famous book achieved their first success very quickly. The title broke attendance records in cinemas even before its premiere – the production was watched by 438,000 people before its official premiere. This is a record result in the history of the Polish box office. The opening weekend was also record-breaking for the film.
We didn’t have to wait long for further impressive numbers. Today we know that the story about Professor Ambroży’s extraordinary school has already been watched by 2,048,776 viewers. Since the pandemic, no domestic production has managed to exceed this magical two-million barrier.

“We decided that we all had to become children for a moment and look at what we were doing from this perspective. This meant that we had to leave ourselves and find the child within us, move away from ourselves as an adult. Each of us has this boy somewhere on the side.” , who is 12-13 years old.
