Changes in public media first affected journalism and news programs. The propaganda “Wiadomości” was replaced by the daily “19.30”, and “Teleexpress” and “Panorama” were not broadcast for some time. The main TVP2 news program returned only in mid-January and from now on it is broadcast at a new time – on weekdays at 10:30 p.m. and on weekends at 10:20 p.m.
“Panorama” has new hosts. Some of the former hosts still feel employed there
Jaros³aw Kulczycki, who is also one of the program’s hosts, became the head of the changed “Panorama”. Apart from him, we can also see Justyna Śliwowska-Mróz, Ewa Gajewska and Piotr Jędrzejek on the screen. However, Monika Andrzejczak, Adam Krzykowski, Adam Giza and Monika Kapinos-Maszenda said goodbye to the program.
The last one mentioned some time ago talked to the portal, where she admitted that she still wonders why she was not invited to cooperate. – I know that the new “Panorama” team has started work and there is a large part of the team that has created the program so far. Also journalists dealing with e.g. politics. I was not invited to this cooperation, the reason remains a mystery to me, she said.
Moreover, Kapinos-Maszenda still believes that she is a TVP employee. In an interview with the website, she assured that her “employment relationship with the employer formally continues.” However, since the revolution in public media began, she has not been seen in other programs that she had the opportunity to co-create. This includes: about the religious “Between Earth and Heaven” or “The Eye of Faith”.
Giza was not afraid of a change of power at TVP. However, on the air “neither sight nor sound”
Another person associated with the former “Panorama” is Adam Giza, who has been an employee of TVP since 2017 and specialized in medical journalism. Also in an interview with Wirtualne Media, he stated that “according to the facts, he is still an employee of TVP.” Moreover, he assured that he was not afraid of losing his job after the change of power in Poland. Giza once even distanced himself from propaganda materials, but observant Internet users and journalists reminded him of some surprising content of his authorship.
Its previous boss, Adam Krzykowski, did not return to the “Panorama” team, nor did Monika Andrzejczak, who was promoted to the position of program host quite recently, in October 2023. In turn, from the previous team, the new “Panorama” includes Łukasz Myc, Małgorzata Wiśniewska, Marcin Dryszel, Anna Waśkiewicz, Aurelia Duniec-Szymańska and Wojciech Heron.
