Strawberry makeup is a great proposition for spring and summer 2024, which is what we associate the title strawberries with. Well, where does this name come from? It’s easy to guess that pink plays the main role in strawberry make-up. So we don’t skimp on the blush not only on the cheeks – we also use it to gently highlight the top of the nose at the base, and we can also do the same for the temples. We can also decide to put blush on the eyelids.

Strawberry makeup took TikTok by storm. On the platform you will find a lot of recordings of various users, which show step by step how to apply strawberry make-up and present the final effect. Some of them experiment and add their own arrangements and details, but in this article we will focus on its most classic version.

Strawberry make-up will give our face a radiant and young, but at the same time natural and not exaggerated look. When applying blush, let’s be decisive, but also remember that its placement should be subtle. However, before we can admire the final effect, the skin should be thoroughly cleansed before applying makeup.

In the next step, we apply BB cream to the face – it will be an ideal alternative to regular foundation, because we only want to even out the skin tone. We don’t want to cover freckles or moles. All facial marks are an inseparable element of youthful, natural strawberry makeup.

Strawberry makeup. How to do it?

Make-up artists recommend using cream blush for this type of make-up. When choosing a color, it is best to choose the one closest to the shade of strawberry. However, by trial and error, we can also mix different shades to find the perfect one for our skin tone.

The strawberry cheeks are ready, so it’s time to move on to the next element of strawberry makeup: freckles. To highlight them, we can use an eyeliner in an appropriate shade or a felt-tip pen, which we can use, for example, to draw lines on the eyelids. All birthmarks and moles are most welcome! We can draw freckles, among others: around the nose, under the eyes and on the temples. Then we gently blend them and “sprinkle” them with highlighter. We can also successfully use shimmering, light-reflecting particles called bio-glitter. Don’t be afraid to go crazy – the more shine, the better.

The final stage of strawberry makeup is the lips. It is best to use lipstick or lip gloss in the same shade (or close to it) as the one used to blush the cheeks. Strawberry-colored lipstick should be blended well – in this case, we do not want a clearly highlighted and strongly defined lip line. The effect should be natural, so the lips should also be slightly “blushed”. We complete the whole with a colorless, shiny lip gloss. We highlight our eyelashes with mascara and enjoy strawberry, refreshing makeup!
