Not only The Rock “has a clone”. Look at Schwarzenegger’s stuntman! A deceptive similarity

Action movies are full of blood-curdling scenes, but not all actors are willing or able to do them. This is when stuntmen come to their aid, for whom risk and adrenaline are no challenge. And although most of them are selected for their physical conditions, only a few look like clones of the stars they replace.

Many spectacular productions have gone down in the history of world cinema, causing a unique thrill throughout the body. This ranking is usually led by action films with the same stars for years. Few people know, however, that in the most difficult scenes they are most often replaced by doubles who look confusingly similar to them, who, despite their huge contribution to the creation of the photos, remain in their shadow. Here are the actors and their resemblance, whose resemblance may be quite a surprise to many.

This is what Arnold Schwarzenegger’s stunt double looks like. Similar?

In 1987, the American science-fiction film “Predator” directed by John McTiernan debuted on cinema screens, which initiated one of the most outstanding science fiction series of the same title. It was in this production that he irreplaceably played the main character, Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer.

Although the actor is famous for taking risks and is not afraid of challenges, in this case he was replaced by an experienced stuntman, Peter Kent, in most of the dangerous scenes. Their similar muscles and incredible similarity meant that he quickly became his private double, helping him make as many as a dozen films in total.

The story is similar in the case of the man known as The Rock. Although the actor is considered a real tough guy and actually does most of the scenes himself, in the case of the most dangerous ones he sometimes uses support.

He has been working with Tanoai Reed for over 20 years, and the graphic designers responsible for post-production do not have a difficult task, because the men are almost as similar as two drops of water. It turns out that they owe this great similarity to kinship, because they are cousins. Together they implemented, among others: action adventure film “Jumanji: The Jungle Adventure” and its equally hit sequel “Jumanji: The Next Level”.

They starred in cult productions. Nobody knew they had understudies

Action films feature not only actors, but also actresses, and they use replacements much more often than their male colleagues. This group includes, among others: Lynda Carter, who is today considered one of the most outstanding Hollywood stars of her generation. The role of the title character in the cult series “Wonder Woman” from 1975 to 1979 undoubtedly contributed to this, thanks to which her career rapidly gained momentum. Many admired her spectacular scenes, but few knew that in those that required special commitment and physical strength, her place was taken by Jeannie Epper, who looked very similar to her.

You don’t have to look far for other examples. You undoubtedly remember the 2015 film “Spectre” from the adventure series. The main female role was played by the French actress Léa Seydoux, who also appeared in the last production with , i.e. “No Time to Die”. Few realize that, unlike the star, she was accompanied on the set by an understudy all the time.

It was Gemita Samarra, famous in the industry, who eagerly boasted about her success in the media, including: in a post published on Instagram. It turns out that the athletic 30-year-old also has aspirations to become a screen star. He has not only doubled other actresses, but also made several episodes in popular titles, including “Game of Thrones” and “The Royals”.
