There were just the two of us, with guitars and congas, and from there we started bringing more musicians to the project to realize Diego’s dream: an orchestra,” says artist José Ayala, a friend of Gallardo.

Ayala and Gallardo created Del Golfo Productions, a production company that advised and provided a platform for emerging national artists. “It was cool, a cool community was created, that was Diego, he saw things differently, he knew what we had to do to mark a path for those who came.”
