The series “Kryminalni” debuted on TVN in 2004 and immediately became one of the station’s most popular shows. The production is still remembered by many fans who fondly remember the times when television series attracted millions of viewers.
The main characters were policemen from the Criminal Department of the Capital Police Headquarters, whose work was commanded by Commissioner Adam Zawada (Marek Włodarczyk). The other important characters were Assistant Commissioner Basia Storosz (Magdalena Schejbal) and Assistant Commissioner Marek Brodecki (Maciej Zazdrowieny).

Although the premiere episodes ended in 2008, many would like to see the return of this cult production. Especially since nowadays formats from years ago are very often restored. In 2020, TVN decided to create a second series of “BrzydUla”, which was broadcast on TVN7.
Maciej Zaścielny recently commented on this topic and admitted in one of his interviews for WP that such an idea had already been taken into account. However, he pointed out that the most important reason why he would be willing to return to the set of the series is the script of new episodes.
To be honest, I received such an offer from a production company a few years ago. It was a test to see if we were even interested. I decided that I would have to read the script because it would have to be something really good for the audience to feel that it was worth waiting for. And I think I would watch such a series, e.g. 13 episodes. I think it would be cool to meet Marek Włodarczyk and Magda Schejbal again – said Zazdrowieny.
