“Magazyn Ekspresu Reporterów” appeared for the first time on the public broadcaster in 1999 and replaced the program with a similar topic “Ekspres Reporterów”. Since 2003, it was broadcast live from the studio, and the last episode was broadcast in May last year on TVP3. Each year, the program was broadcast later and later, so its viewership also decreased.

The portal’s editorial staff talked to the first host of “Magazyn”, Michał Olszański, who confirmed that the program would return and he would become its host again. He admitted that it will most likely be included in the TVP2 schedule, and the first episode will appear in mid-March. However, as he emphasized, no official decisions have been made yet.
Indeed, there are already preliminary arrangements. I said that I would love to return to the magazine and be the face of the reporting program. It is known that this is a program for reporters, not for the host, but since I have been a face for so many years, I cannot imagine not being able to run the program. Probably not for many years, because I’m getting older and I’m already retired, but the task seems absolutely fascinating and cool to me – he said in an interview with the portal.
In the interview, he also revealed that work on the new formula is already advanced, and Barbara Paciorkowska, who previously worked at “Magazyn Ekspres Reporterów”, is responsible for re-creating the reportage editorial team. Moreover, he announced that the new version of the program would want to highlight the reportage in the foreground, because at the moment there is no such program on TVP.
He also referred to “A Case for a Reporter”, which, in his opinion, has changed its formula significantly over the years. – There is a program by Ela Jaworowicz, but she went in a completely different direction, she greatly expanded the studio and conversations. She was building emotions, and the reportage began to play in the background. But with us it was always the other way around. The reportage was always supposed to be a material that would give reflections and emotions, and the studio would somehow complement it, and we will definitely be heading in that direction, he noted.
