A recording of this year’s high school seniors’ prom was shown on TikTok by the restaurant where the ceremonial ball was organized. Solemn because, contrary to the trends in recent years, high school students did not wear elegant dresses and high school students did not wear colorful suits. Just like their parents years ago, prom goers opted for absolute classics – the same black and white for everyone. Girls were required to wear long dresses and white shirts, and boys, in addition to suits, wore white gloves.
