The case of Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik has been going on for 15 years, but in recent weeks the land scandal has become the number one topic in the Polish media. The battle of former MPs has so far ended with another pardon by Andrzej Duda and their release from prison.

In turn, Wąsik explained how the detention at the Presidential Palace took place, which was followed by the whole of Poland. According to the politician’s testimony, as many as eight policemen appeared on the spot. “I have the impression that the behavior of the SOP heads bore signs of failure to subordinate themselves to the president,” Wąsik said.
The former MP also confessed that he prayed to be released from prison and found out about his release while praying the rosary. “Mr. Hołownia, Mr. Tusk, let’s look each other in the eye, we are MPs, we will not give up,” Holecka’s guests said to the government.
