Students of the 4th Secondary School Stanisław Staszic in Biała Podlaska danced a waltz to the song “Say You Love Me” by Jesse Ware at the prom. Only one couple danced the first few bars, then their friends joined them. Indeed, all the girls were in white dresses, not the traditional formal outfits (white top, black/navy blue bottoms). They did not choose noble disguises either. They looked ethereal and charming, dancing with their friends “under the fly” to the words of the song whose title can be translated as “Say you love me”. The choreography and the high school graduates were prepared by high school teacher Aneta Pszczoła-Dołęzka.
There was also a polonaise
It is also worth adding that, contrary to the assumptions of some commentators, the students also performed a polonaise. The high school students danced to the frequently chosen polonaise from “Pan Tadeusz”, a composition by Wojciech Kilar. The girls also appeared in white dresses (but then they changed clothes and played in their own).
The school principal was in the first pair. One of the high school graduates’ mothers was responsible for the arrangement.
