On December 20, 2023, a few minutes after 11 a.m., the TVP Info signal, which was created by employees employed during the rule of the United Right, was turned off. When the station returned to broadcasting after the holidays, its schedule was very modest. Last week, two new programs “Oko na Świat” and “Redakcja” appeared, and in February the schedule will include other formats that are well known to viewers.
“Forum” and “Woronicza 17” return to TVP Info. They will be hosted by the station’s new stars
According to reports, on Sunday, February 2, at 8:20 p.m., the current affairs program “Forum” will be broadcast, hosted by Marek Czy¿. It is a journalistic program with the participation of representatives of all parliamentary clubs, which has been broadcast on Polish Television for over a dozen years. Its last host was Adrian Klarembach, and in the past they included: Jarosław Kulczycki, Karolina Lewicka and Marek Czyż.
In turn, the second restored program will be “Woronicza 17”, the formula of which consists in talking to politicians belonging to various political groups on the most current topics. Previously, it was hosted by, among others, Miłosz Kłeczek, and according to information, the program will be hosted by Kamila Biedrzycka from February. The journalist will continue to run “Express Biedrzycka” on the “Super Express” website and, among others, on his YouTube channel.
The return of these programs will also mean a greater presence of politicians on TVP Info. Since the launch of the new version of the channel, mainly journalists, experts and scientists who comment on current events are invited to the studio. In recent days, politicians have been appearing more and more often on TVP Info, but as the head of TAI, Grzegorz Sajór, said in one of the interviews, they are only supposed to speak in news programs. However, journalism should focus on analyzing their statements.
