Supersubmarina has announced its return, although perhaps not in the way that many expected. The Baeza band has returned to their social networks after a long time to announce the publication of a book titled ‘Something that serves as light’, which It will be published next April 4.

In August 2016, the band members, José, Juanca, Pope and Jaime, had a traffic accident when they were returning from performing at the Medusa Sunbeach Festival in Cullera (Valencia). An accident in which they suffered serious damage, after which they went into a very complicated recovery process that paralyzed everything.

Since then There hasn’t been much information about the group. Some of its members undertook new projects, such as the drummer and guitarist, Juanca and Jaime, who joined forces in Melifluo.

The worst part of the accident was borne by the band’s singer, José Marín, better known as Chino, who has not been on stage since then.

“The accident we had August 14, 2016 was a shock so tremendous for us that we found ourselves very helpless before the possibility of being able to give an explanation of what was really happening to us without inflicting even greater damage on ourselves than we were already suffering. Faced with this situation, both our family and friends, as well as us, decided to close ranks to protect ourselves,” they explained.

Now, they have decided to break their silence about what happened through this book written by journalist Fernando Navarro in which, after a series of interviews, he has reconstructed what musicians were and are currently.

“When we met Fernando Navarro, something happened that none of us expected. As if it were a group therapy, what in principle was going to be one of many more meetings, became the key that would open Pandora’s Box forever of Supersubmarina”, the group has detailed through a publication on Instagram.

Supersubmarina has recognized that for them andThe journalist has served as a “catalyst” of all his emotions. “For the first time in a long time, a therapy that lasted two years began. And the result of that therapy is this book that you will soon be able to have in your hands, where for the first time we tell our true story and where you will surely be able to find the answers to many of the questions you have asked us since everything happened,” they confessed.

Rumors and speculation about a possible return of the band

Since they decided to stop their career until now, there have been several speculations. about a possible return of Supersubmarina. Rumors that began to increase after the band announced they had important news to give after having been silent for a long time.

Finally, it has been announced that this big announcement was the publication of a book in which they will tell their story, something that some see as the starting point for their return to the stage.

Some rumors that have increased after reading how the band’s statement ends. “We have as much desire as you do to resume musical activity and I hope this therapy made into a book means for Supersubmarina a new starting point and help us achieve this goal sooner rather than later,” they concluded. A message that has caused many to wonder if this represents confirmation of the return of the Baeza group.

One of the last times in which their followers were able to see the band together was last September, when Pedro Sánchez received Supersubmarina in the Moncloa Palace.

The president, who declares himself a fan of the band, met them at the Cala Mijas festival and invited them. A photograph that went viral and generated all kinds of speculation, joking about whether they could be “negotiating” for the group to return to the stage after eight years of absence.
