Thousands of Polish women struggle with this troublesome problem. Grandma’s kitchen remedy will help

Feet are quite problematic body parts for many people. They are exposed to numerous unpleasant ailments that we struggle with both in summer and winter. It turns out that in many cases we can help ourselves and we do not have to spend millions of coins. Just a short walk to the kitchen.

We can buy a lot of products in stores to help us take care of our feet. Some of them cost a lot and the effect is not satisfactory at all. It turns out that there is one thing that works great for our feet and we don’t have to spend a fortune on it. Bah! Maybe you can even do it without leaving home.

Bay leaves for feet – grandmothers’ solution to annoying problems

Bay leaves for feet are a recipe that our grandmothers and great-grandmothers knew and used. They contain a compound called eugenol, which has a bactericidal effect. An infusion of bay leaves for feet has antiseptic and refreshing properties. It is also great if you struggle with unpleasant odor and excessive sweating. It can also help in the fight against mycosis (“help” because, of course, it does not replace a visit to a podiatrist). Additionally, it will fantastically soften the skin of your feet.

Bay leaf infusion for feet

Bay leaf infusion for feet is very easy to prepare. We basically need a whole bag of leaves (approx. 15 pieces) and boiling water. Place both of these ingredients in a bowl and leave until the water reaches an acceptable temperature. Then we put our feet in it (we can get rid of the leaves first, but it is not necessary). After 15-20 minutes, wipe the skin, especially between the fingers – excessive humidity promotes the growth of bacteria and fungi.

It is worth using bay leaf infusion for feet regularly. This will make it easier for us to fight unpleasant ailments. Every day, it is good to remember the basics of hygiene. It turns out that many people do not even wash their feet, thinking that they cleanse themselves “incidentally” during a shower. We should also take care to properly exfoliate the accumulated epidermis. An option recommended by podiatrists is to use a grater. You must also remember to properly moisturize the skin of your feet.
