Although the building of the Television Information Agency was no longer occupied, broadcasting of TVP Info and other news programs was not resumed from there. The new studio, from which the Polish Television news channel will be broadcasting from January 19, 2024, is located at Woronicza Street. In the past, it was intended for the editorial office of the TVP World channel, whose broadcasting is still suspended.

Since TVP Info resumed broadcasting, it was broadcasting from a virtual studio. The hosts and guests of the program sat in the studio where there was a greenbox. The displayed graphics differed depending on the time of day, and their colors were in the same colors known from TVP Info.
The new studio is decorated in black, navy blue and white. There are interactive screens and a table at which the hosts and the presenter read the information. On the right side of the journalists there is an interactive panel showing a preview of the work of the TVP Info newsroom. Live reporter inputs are also shown there.
Although the Friday morning hosts did not hide their enthusiasm about the new broadcasting location, some of the station’s viewers are disappointed. you can find numerous comments from users who make it clear that this is not what they expected.

Moreover, from today, news tickers appear again on TVP Info. In the previous version of the channel, they were called “horror bars” because the content transmitted through them was written in a biased and sensational way. It was often difficult for the recipient to separate the information from the comment.
Now that has changed. The strips contain only short information about what is currently being talked about on the air, or a statement from an expert or politician who is currently being shown is quoted. This was the case, for example, after 9 a.m., when the station broadcast the press conference of the Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

In my opinion, all changes lead in the right direction. As for the studio after TVP World, it seems to me that this is only a transitional stage before the channel’s crew returns to TAI at pl. Warsaw insurgents. Although the work of the new TVP Info team has been ongoing for a month, it is certainly still very difficult and all details may need to be worked out on an ongoing basis.
However, when it comes to the return of information bars, I hope that they will remain in the form they are currently. They are very neutral and encourage the viewer to listen more to what is being said on the air, rather than suggesting how we should look at a given topic. The same is true of BBC News, which is considered a model of public news television around the world.
