“Va Banque” does not disappear from the TVP schedule! Recordings of the new series of the game show have started
In recent days, there has been a lot of talk about layoffs in “Pytanie na śnidanie”, whose group of presenters has already been reduced to include: Małgorzata Opczowska and Anna Popek. It is also unknown what will happen to Elżbieta Jaworowicz’s intervention magazine “Sprawa dla reportera” and the program “Jaka to melodia”, whose current host was Rafa³ Brzozowski. However, none of these changes caused as much outrage among viewers as the news about the alleged removal of the popular game show with Przemysław Babiarz as the host. The station denied these rumors by publishing an official statement in which it was announced that work on the next series had already started.

TVP has serious problems. The producer of “Va Banque” demands several million in compensation from the station
The new president still has to face the consequences of the decisions his predecessor made a few years earlier. According to reports, the producer of “Va Banque”, responsible for the production of the episodes, plans to take legal action, demanding compensation from the station in the amount of PLN 6.7 million along with interest for unjustified termination of the contract.
Let us recall that the station reported to the company a complaint that there were technical difficulties during the recording due to the contractor’s equipment. Then, the president of Astro decided to purchase new devices, but at the last minute, Anna Cyzowska-Andura, following Jacek Kurski’s order, terminated the contract with the contractor.
During the recording of the program, it turned out that the technical requirements of Telewizja Polska had increased significantly and the devices belonging to Astro did not meet the requirements of TVP. It should be noted that the program was effectively implemented by the Plaintiff and the issues of failure to meet technical requirements by the Company’s equipment were completely unfounded and were undoubtedly intended to constitute an excuse for not continuing cooperation between the parties – which the Plaintiff understood only later.
