The countdown begins: there is less than a week left. Next Wednesday the 17th edition of Huhezinemaand the program is ready, which will give the possibility of enjoying workshops in Aretxabaleta, masterclassmovies, concerts…
The Basque short film festival, which will be held from January 24 to 26, will host screenings of 21 short films and 12 video clips, awards ceremonies, concerts and several master classes in the Arkupe room in Aretxabaleta. On the other hand, Jon Elizegi’s will be held on the set of the audiovisual faculty. Also, in the town square in Gipuzkoa, poteo, concert by Jasan Taldea, lunch and DJ Rosamari.
On Wednesday, January 24, it will be the students’ turn. For the third year, this section has been opened to all film school students, beyond HUHEZI. The day will begin with a master class from experts such as Paul Urkijo and Mattin Aierbe. In the afternoon, students’ short films can be seen. Finally, since pintxopote is usually made on Wednesdays in Aretxabaleta, the day will end in the same way.
On Thursday, January 25, you can see video clip projections. The afternoon will begin with the premiere of the video clip “Bihotza denegar”. Afterwards, there will be a masterclass led by Asier Rentería. To round off the day, Jasan concert, in Arkupe.
Friday, January 26, will be the big day of the festival. The program will begin in the afternoon with the screening of the official section. 10 selected short films will be offered, divided into three parts, with two breaks between them. Most of the directors of the films that have managed to reach the final will present their work on site. At the end of the screenings, at 7:30 p.m., the awards ceremony will take place. To put the cherry on top there will be a lunch from Ausolan. The festival will end in a festive atmosphere with DJ Rosamari, also in Arkupe.
All activities will be free and open. In addition, they will have the presence of Albina Sturdust, Kepa Errasti, Ane Urresti and Iker Mateo.
