Hatton still has it. Quick knockout of the host
The British show is hosted by Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby. Immediately after experts assessed Hatton’s inaugural performance, the man asked the former boxer to comment on his impressions. It was decided to encourage the boxer to show off his ring skills and attack the host. He didn’t hesitate long and knocked out Mulhern with a quick left hook to the hand.
And although the presenter actually fell to the ground with a bang, he spoke to the audience in his next entrance. However, he did not escape unscathed, as he clung to his injured limb. Mulhern decided to speak out after this unusual incident in an interview with MailOnline. “Ricky is a strong man. I asked him to hit me as a joke, forgetting for a moment that he is a three-time world boxing champion, and yes, it hurt a lot,” he confessed in an interview.
The boxer is joking, but also wishes you good health. Internet users are divided
Hatton himself also spoke. He published an entry via the X website (formerly Twitter), laughing that he “deals knockout blows even in the program.” Of course, he also expressed hope that nothing happened to the host. And although Mulhern is safe and sound, the bruise caused by the boxer’s punch will not disappear quickly.
Ricky’s fans were surprised after the incident, which they expressed under Hatton’s post on social media. “Hahahaha, I must say, well done Ricky Hatton. I laughed so hard at that punch,” we read. However, there were also voices that the boxer had definitely exaggerated. “Stephen will sue Ricky Hatton for this blow,” wrote one Internet user. However, it seems that the gentlemen will not meet in court. “The show must go on.”
