“Today, she is the most recognizable country artist in North America, if not the world: her songwriting spans several genres, and her economic influence moves from city to city,” the course description reads.

Additionally, they add that “we will learn to study fan culture, celebrity culture, adolescence, adulthood, and appropriation; how to think about white texts, southern texts, transatlantic texts and queer subtexts”, according to Argentine media.

Burt mentioned that he decided to create a course about Taylor Swift because she is one of the most important and popular artists today.

Host Jo Koy is responsible for Taylor Swift’s worst face, because of which many missed Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globe Awards: this is how Selena Gomez comforted her after an awkward moment

“We are lucky to live in a time where one of our greatest artists is also one of the most famous people on the planet. “Why not give a course on that?” admitted the poet.

However, the aforementioned medium explains that Taylor’s incursion as a subject of study at universities is not new.

Studio houses from other parts of the world have targeted the artist to teach some courses and classes focused on her music and literature, as has Queen Mary University.
