American singer-songwriter Michael Boltonthe author and voice of the hit from 1983 How Am I Supposed To Live Without You, retired from the stage after being diagnosed with a brain tumor and undergoing emergency surgery last December.
On January 5, the artist published a letter on his social networks in which he explained to his followers that the year 2023 ended with unexpected challenges for him, because Just before Christmas, a tumor was discovered and the doctors decided to operate immediatelyin a successful intervention.
Now the 71-year-old performer is at home, recovering with the help of his family.
“For the next two months, I will be devoting my time and energy to recovery, which means I will have to take a temporary break from my tours“, he wrote.
He added that he was sorry to disappoint his fans, but that he would try to speed up his comeback.
