Earlier, and yes, there was speculation, among others: that Mark Hamill was supposed to play the main character’s mentor in the production, but these plans came to nothing and the role of Vesemir was taken over by Kim Bodnia. Meanwhile, to wipe away some tears, Fishburne, who has also participated in such blockbuster series as “Mission: Impossible”, “John Wick” and “Hannibal”, will star in a series based on the prose of Andrzej Sapkowski, a certain Regis.

Regis appears for the first time in the Witcher saga in the volume “Baptism of Fire” and is an extremely surprising character. To get the role of a soldier, he concealed his real age, but the director liked him so much that he cast him in subsequent productions such as “Rumble Fish” (1983), “Cotton Club” (1984) and “Kamienne ogrody” (Gardens of Stone, 1987).
