Last year, during the holidays, we informed about the resumption of the production of “Vacation Diaries”, which, due to the absurd scenario, was considered a cult classic by many. According to reports, new episodes are ready, but it is not yet known when exactly they will be available to watch.
The holiday paradocumentary will return in spring. However, it will not go to Polsat
It turns out that the fifth season of the series will not appear on Polsat. According to the portal, initially “Vacation Diaries” were to be included in the spring schedule of the solar station, but it was decided to focus “on continuations of well-known and liked items from the last schedules”. That’s why the production will be broadcast on TV4:
We are currently looking for a suitable place in the TV4 schedule – an employee of Telewizja Polsat told the Wirtualne Media editorial office.
At this moment, the details of the spring schedule of the TV4 channel are not known yet. It is known that the station will show the next edition of the reality show “Love Island”. It is worth recalling that this program was initially also broadcast on Polsat. The change occurred after Edward Miszczak took over as station chief at the beginning of last year.
The upcoming series of “Vacation Diaries” marks the return of the series to broadcast after eight years. The fifth season was filmed in September and October in Gran Canaria, and the cast included people selected during castings in Poland, but also compatriots living on the Canary Islands.
Previous seasons of the holiday paradocumentary were also recorded in Gran Canaria, but also in Majorca and Lloret de Mar. These series of “Vacation Diaries” were broadcast on “big” Polsat in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016. In recent months, reruns of the production have been shown at night by TV6.
