“Panorama” returned to TVP2 after a break of almost three weeks due to changes in the company’s management. Jaros³aw Kulczycki is the new editor-in-chief of the “Dwójka” news service. He replaced Adam Krzykowski in this position. Previously, Kulczycki was the presenter of “Panorama” in 2004-2006.
What does Jarosław Kulczycki want to fight for?
He is the first in this year’s program on January 10 at 10:30 p.m. At this time, the service will be broadcast on weekdays, while on Saturdays and Sundays the start is scheduled for 22:10. In an interview with the “Fakt” daily, he feels “deep satisfaction” with this return and the effect of the work of a slightly changed team. However, he added that he would like TVP viewers to be able to watch “Panorama” a little earlier:
Of course, I will fight for it, but the schedule has its own rules. I’m trying to get us back at some point. 6 p.m. Because when it comes to the evening, there are two series, and they bring money from advertising, and ‘Panorama’ can start only after them.
“Panorama” is over 30 years old
“Panorama” is a program with many years of tradition. The first service was broadcast on TVP2 on September 2, 1991. It replaced “Panorama Dzień”, broadcast since 1987. In previous years, the presenters of “Panorama” included: Sławomir Matczak, Krystyna Antosik, Krystyna Czubówna, Bożena Targosz, Ewa Godlewska-Bunda and Hanna Lis. Now Kulczycki will be responsible for reading the news from Monday to Friday, and on weekends he will be replaced by Piotr Jędrzejek.
Kulczycki started working in television at Polsat, but for years he was associated with TVP, where he joined in 1995. After 11 years, he chose to host “Interwencja” on Polsat, but after a year he returned to Telewizja Polska. In January 2016, he was fired from TVP.
