Kazik Staszewski’s concerts canceled. The reason was the singer’s health problems
On January 11, 2024, Kazik Staszewski was supposed to perform live with the band in Wrocław. Just a few hours before the concert, an entry appeared on the group’s official profile with information about the change of the event date due to the singer’s illness.
We regret to inform you that due to Kazik’s illness (voice problems), today’s concert of the KAZIK band in Wrocław is postponed to February 25, 2024 (Sunday). Tickets remain valid
– the musicians reported. But that’s not the end. Shortly afterwards, another announcement appeared online, this time about the transfer of two in Krakow. Saturday with the ProForma Quartet will take place on April 22, while the artist’s solo performance is tentatively scheduled for April 21.
If Staszewski returns to form, he will return to the stage on January 18 during a concert in Krynica, and a day later he will also perform in Bielsko-Biała together with the mentioned ProForma Quartet. According to his schedule, the most intense month will be March, for which he has a series of 17 performances planned as part of his acoustic tour.
Kazik Staszewski should take care of his voice, but he doesn’t. Why?
Various diseases and infections happen to everyone, especially in the winter season, but Kazik Staszewski complained about health problems, especially with his voice, several years ago. – I’m getting old and sometimes my voice stops working when I play six concerts in a row, and they’re not short – in an interview for Antyradio. At the same time, he admitted that he was partly to blame. He revealed that, contrary to recommendations, he does not pay special attention to taking care of his vocal cords, although he should, because it is his working tool. – I don’t care about my voice and it’s very unreasonable, I drink alcohol and smoke, it certainly doesn’t help. A number of different factors contribute to ENT problems, he said honestly.
