Remigiusz Mróz, thanks to the president, has an idea for a new “Chyłka”
There’s been so much going on in Poland since Monday that there would be enough ideas for more than one book or TV series. Remigiusz Mróz sees this, and already on the day of his “hosting” at the president’s palace and then the detention of Maciej Wąsik and Mariusz Kamiński, he sarcastically commented that even he would not have invented such scenarios for his political series.
However, it quickly turned out that reality once again left fiction far behind. The former MPs had not yet had time to settle down for good in the place of detention when President Andrzej Duda decided to initiate another – this time more legal – pardon procedure against them. And this may be the title of the new part “”:
If I don’t title Chyłka’s next volume “Pardon”, I’m out of my mind – said the author on social media.
In the comments, the writer revealed what else might happen to Chyłka:
I would even nominate her for the presidential elections, let Zordon wander around the ministries. The plot writes itself.
Remigiusz Mróz has admitted many times that he also draws inspiration for subsequent books from events on the Polish political scene. The previous government also provided him with quite a few of these:
Such things are happening in the Polish parliament that I wouldn’t be able to get it into my books. That would be unrealistic. If, for example, I wrote that a certain party or ruling camp led to the resumption of a vote that was unsuccessful, it would be difficult to get out of it in terms of the story – he said in an interview with Radio ZET.
When is “Chyłka” season 6?
Meanwhile, although “Chyłka” in the book version has several titles (for PlayerTVN viewers it was naturally 2022). In February 2023, TVN viewers received the last season of the production “Chyłka – Accusation”. Magdalena Cielecka announced before the premiere that she would not return as a patron:
I’ve already said goodbye. Just like Daniel Craig after five Bonds, I said “pass” after five Chylki. I couldn’t imagine that I would be doing this forever. I didn’t agree on a specific quantity, but when the contract ended and the next parts were being considered, I said, okay, we have to finish with this one. For now, it’s hard to imagine anyone else as Joanna Chyłka – Cielecka has been playing this character since 2018. But we haven’t seen things like this before in movies and TV series. Who knows, maybe someone else will soon become Joanna Chyłka in the sixth part of the series? There are still a lot of books left to be adapted into films, and – as you can see – Remigiusz Mróz has not yet said the last word about this series.
