Monika Jarosińska gained great recognition by playing the role of Zosia from “Plebania” in 2000-2012, and later in 2002-2010 as Jolanta Patusiak in the hit series “Samo Życie”. Despite a dynamically developing career, she decided to leave Poland permanently, but the longing for her loved ones turned out to be stronger than the desire to live on an island.
Jarosińska settled on the island. What did she do every day?
In many interviews, Jarosińska emphasized that one of her biggest dreams is to live in a place where “the sun always shines.” Her husband also had a similar vision of their common future, which made it easier for her to implement this plan. Finally, she put everything on one card and in 2017 she moved with her family to Malta. There she opened a beauty salon, which she ran successfully, but, contrary to appearances, it did not mean giving up her career.
She flew to Poland from time to time to play or appear at a festival, and worked on the sets of films and TV series. Because of this, her initial fascination with island life quickly faded away. Each time, returning was more and more difficult, and the greatest pain was caused by her longing for her loved ones left behind in her homeland. This was the last straw and pushed her to make another brave decision.
The star of the series “Life itself” made a brave decision. Why does he want to return to Poland?
After 7 years in Malta, Jarosińska decided to return to Poland. Since the couple will visit the country in January 2024, she summarized the last years spent on the island and thanked everyone she met there by publishing a post on Instagram.
After 7 years of living in Malta, me and my family are returning to Poland. I would like to thank all my friends I have met here over the years. It was a time of wonderful experiences, ups and downs, and new friendships. I learned a lot about this place and the people who live here
– she wrote. What finally made her and her husband make this decision?
As she explained in an interview, separation from her homeland helped her understand that it is here that she feels the best, because she has people she loves with her and who make her not feel lonely. – Every time I returned to Malta after my stay in Poland, I missed the country. Robert saw it. I also missed my friends in Malta. I felt lonely here. I am a herd person, I have to do something, create something, feel needed. And here I devoted myself to a business that did not give satisfaction to my artistic soul – she said, adding that although the beauty salon she ran was very prosperous all the time, she did not feel fulfilled. – I don’t feel happy without fulfilling myself as an actress and singer. My husband knows it. He admitted that a certain stage had already ended – explained the actress.
