Premium packages on Spotify are extremely popular among users, as they guarantee, among others: listening or podcasts without interruptions in the form of advertisements, as well as unlimited possibilities in selecting an interesting song. Already in July 2023, the website decided to increase the rates for using this service, but this did not reach Polish subscribers. But now that is about to change. Platform users receive avalanche of e-mails informing about price increases of all available packages, which is caused by “an increase in operating costs”. How much will the fees for each of them be now?
How much does Spotify Premium cost? Music streaming will be more expensive
So far, the cheapest Spotify offer was the student package, which was PLN 9.99, but now its price has increased to PLN 12.99 per month. The premium option for one user cost PLN 19.99 and has been increased to PLN 23.99. The same applies to the duo version, which allows two people to use the website, which will soon cost not PLN 24.99 but PLN 30.99. However, the biggest increase awaits Premium Family subscribers, as the monthly fee will be PLN 37.99, which is as much as PLN 8 more expensive than in previous months.
According to the message he sent to his subscribers, the changes will come into force only from April 2024, therefore the old terms of the contract will apply until then. Importantly, it is necessary to accept the new price list by clicking the appropriate button attached to the e-mail, which then redirects you to the application. However, if for some reason this is not met, the platform will not charge higher fees for services and will cancel access to the premium package on March 31. Then, if you want to continue using this function, you will need to resume it.
