Either way, information about the possible removal of the program from the schedule by the new TVP authorities was widely reported on the Internet. Many people questioned its veracity, but the portal’s editors found out more news that may not be optimistic for all fans of the game show.
It turns out that recordings for new episodes of “Va Banque” were to start at the beginning of the second week of January in the TVP building at Woronicza Street. According to the website, on January 4, 2024, the program’s production informed the participants scheduled for the recordings that they would not take place.
‘We are sorry for the situation, but they are not dependent on us’ – this was the message that people who managed to qualify for the program were supposed to hear.
Moreover, the date of the next day of recording was not given, only information that the nearest possible date of resumption of recordings may be March 2024. This news made the December information provided by Pudelek once again become the subject of discussion on the Internet.
The WP Teleshow portal contacted the program’s production, which took the floor. He explains that the last-minute cancellation of the recordings was caused by “incorrect booking of the recording studio”, and the whole matter concerns only some of the participants who were asked to be longer patient and come to the TVP headquarters for the recordings in March. The editorial team also asked Przemysław Babiarz for a comment, but he refused to comment.
