Choosing makeup cosmetics is not easy at all. There are many issues to take into account, including: quality, performance and whether they are suitable for our skin type. Poorly selected products not only look unsightly, but can also cause us a lot of problems. The choice of shade itself is also problematic. And this is what drugstore makeup artists are supposed to help us with.

The Internet is full of mocking videos about various professions. There were also drugstore make-up artists among them. A recording appeared on Facebook of internet creator Natalia Szdrowiek, which shows – well – sometimes really painfully real situations in which we ask a makeup specialist for help. How does such a consultation take place? .

In the recording we see a make-up artist who does not seem to listen at all to what the client is saying to her. He suggests otherwise by only uttering “mhm.” She nonchalantly chews gum and assesses her interlocutor’s face with a strange grimace, without asking any questions about care or problem areas. The client complains that she has trouble choosing the right shade of foundation because she has a very fair complexion. The make-up artist shows her her selection. The shade is obviously too dark by several shades.

The video shows not only the poor quality of services provided by some make-up artists, but also the problem that many Polish women struggle with: choosing the right shade of foundation. We usually have (very) fair skin. Much more yellowish than pink. Meanwhile, many of the products available in stores do not have sufficiently light foundations, and if they do, many of them are more pink than yellow. In such a case, we have to mix different foundations, which involves additional expenses.

These are just some of the comments that appeared under the video. Many people perfectly understood the problem of unprofessional service. There were also voices of opposition and even indignation.
