Since December 20, 2023, there has been a revolution in public media. Then the broadcast of TVP Info was interrupted, “Wiadomości” and “Teleexpress” were not broadcast on the air. Instead of the flagship news program of Telewizja Polska, a new format “19:30” appeared, TVP Info also resumed broadcasting, and Jarosław Kulczycki returned to the air after eight years.
The end of Rafał Patyra’s career on TVP
It will be no different in the case of “Teleexpress”. On January 3, Maciej Orłości shared a photo from the studio with his fans. Orłoś’s great return to “Teleexpress” can be seen on TVP1 on January 4 at 5 p.m. The presenter disappeared from Telewizja Polska, like many other respected journalists, when PiS began to introduce changes in public media eight years ago.
However, this means that there will be no place for Rafał Patyra in the editorial office. “Rafał Patyra’s contract expired before the change of government at TVP and we do not intend to extend it” – a person employing journalists at TVP, Wirtualne Media portal. The journalist’s contract with TVP Sport was not extended in December, which means that he will completely disappear from Telewizja Polska.
