Tickets sold out for the opening ceremony of the Chillida centenary

The free tickets for the event that on January 10 will inaugurate the centenary of the birth of the artist Eduardo Chillida at the Victoria Eugenia Theater in Donostia have been sold out in a few hours.

The gala organized by the Eduardo Chillida-Pilar Belzunce Foundation will feature dance, music, philosophy and art, and will be presented by Anne Igartiburu and Mikel Chillida, one of the honoree’s sons. The event will take place under the heading ‘Eduardo Chillida 100 years. Meeting place’.

In this way, the commemorative year of the centenary of the birth of the San Sebastian artist Eduardo Chillida, one of the most prominent of Basque art and who died in 2002, will begin.

The event will have the institutional participation of the Ministry of Culture, the Basque Government, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, the Donostia-San Sebastián City Council and the Hernani City Council.
