Record of “Mr. Kleks’ Academy”. There has never been such a result in the history of the Polish box office

Although “Mr. Kleks’ Academy” directed by Maciej Kawulski will be released on a regular basis only on January 5, it has already managed to conquer cinemas.

The film about the enchanted school of Professor Ambroży Kleks has so far been watched by 438,000 viewers. This is a record result for pre-premiere screenings in the history of the Polish box office.

– When we started working on the film, I knew that Kleks would remember himself, but in my sincerest dreams I did not expect such a result and such a great reception. We wholeheartedly thank the children, both the small and the big ones. Thanks to you, the news about the world of imagination is spreading faster and wider – says Maciej Kawulski, director and producer of the film. Pre-premiere screenings began on December 25, and the “regular” cinema premiere is scheduled for January 5.

What is the new “Mr. Kleks’ Academy” about?

40 years after the film adaptation of Jan Brzechwa’s novel with Piotr Fronczewski in the title role, this time it is not Adaś, but Ada Niezgódka who goes to Mr. Kleks’ Academy. In the new version, the starling Mateusz has also changed significantly. The artificial bird, voiced by Adam Probosz, was replaced by Sebastian Stankiewicz.

The cast of the film included: Antonina Litwiniak, Tomasz Kot, Piotr Fronczewski, Danuta Stenka, Agnieszka Grochowska, Sebastian Stankiewicz, Daniel Walasek and Konrad Repiński. The script of the film, based on which director Kawulski made the film, was written by Krzysztof Gureczny and Agnieszka Kruk. The Agora publishing house for children also published the book “Kleks. New beginning”.

Additionally, Mr. Kleks’ Academy starts live in February. The “Spectacular Musical School of Imagination” will take place in the largest halls in Poland (in Łódź, Wrocław, Poznań, Warsaw, Tricity, Katowice and Kraków). More information about the route can be found at: www.kleksnazywo.pl.
