Oded Fehr was born on November 23, 1970 in Tel Aviv. His mother came from the Netherlands and his father was German. Initially, he was fascinated by it, so when he came of age he decided to join the Israeli army marine corps. After 3 years, he finished his service and went to Frankfurt, where he first worked as a security guard for an Israeli airline, and then helped his father run the family business.

After several failed attempts at becoming an entrepreneur, he joined a drama course out of lack of luck. It was there that his passion and love for the stage was born.
