Mexican singer Gloria Trevino Ruiz, known as Gloria Trevi, filed a nine-count counterclaim against her former manager, Sergio Andrade, in the California State Supreme Court. The main charges are sexual assault and intentional infliction of emotional pain.
The counterclaim is in response to a lawsuit filed in 2022 by two women against her and Andrade, alleging sexual assault.

Camille M. Vásquez, of Brown Rudnick LLP, is representing Trevi to “seek justice and hold those responsible accountable,” the firm said in a statement. Vásquez was the lawyer of actor Johnny Depp.
“For many years, she chose to remain silent about the horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of Andrade to avoid reliving the horrific experiences and, most importantly, to protect her children and family,” the caption reads.

It adds that the actress “is deeply saddened to file this counterclaim because of the continued attacks and false accusations against her.”
Trevi denied that he lured Andrade’s accusers into molesting him. She also said that she is a ‘prisoner’, reports Mexican media. She claims that she was beaten with fists, whipped with belts or cables, isolated, spied on, repeatedly raped and His talent was used to generate profit for the producer.
