Krystyna Feldman was madly in love with him. Death separated them

Krystyna Feldman was very popular with men, but she was only interested in older admirers. The one she fell madly in love with didn’t pay her any attention at first. Then he turned out to be the one.

was born in Lviv in 1916. She came from an artistic family. Her father was an actor and her mother an opera singer. When Feldman was a teenager, her stepfather sent her to a trade school, but she was not at all successful with her studies. She sold her textbooks and then returned to her hometown. She tried to become an actress at all costs. She made her debut in one of the theaters in Lviv, but her career was interrupted when the Soviets arrived in Lviv. First she worked as a domestic help, then she became a liaison for the Home Army. In 1953, she appeared in the film “Cellulose” by Jerzy Kawalerowicz. She became famous for her role in “Nikifor”, in which she played a man.

In love without memory

Feldman was very successful with men, although, as she said, she didn’t know why. She always preferred older people and this was also the choice of her heart. She met director Stanisław Bryliński when she was 31. He was almost 60 then and married. His marriage to Helena Górska eventually broke up, and the director started dating Krystyna Feldman. The actress admitted that he didn’t make a very good impression on her at first. Only when they started talking to each other did she realize that he was the one. “From the moment he saw me, he followed me. And at the beginning I didn’t like him very much. But we talked a lot and he finally convinced me,” she said in one of the interviews.

Feldman and Bryliński never got married, and no one knew why. When they finally started thinking about formalizing their relationship, the actress’s beloved fell ill. “He still managed to joyfully experience Stalin’s death. I forbade him to leave the house because he said he would walk down Piotrkowska, the main street in Łódź, and sing. He soon got meningitis,” said Krystyna Feldman. The actress tried to save her partner’s life, but to no avail. Stanisław Bryliński died on October 10, 1953.

Feldman recalled that they were very happy together until their last moments. After the death of her beloved, the actress no longer intended to look for another love, for her Stanisław Bryliński was the one. Krystyna Feldman died in 2007 at the age of 88. She was buried at the Miłostowo cemetery in Poznań.
