The division of the “political cake” in “19:30” was shown on Twitter/X by one of the bloggers who has been analyzing events on the current political scene for years. In recent days, he has been mainly concerned with the confusion surrounding TVP, and since the first edition of “19:30” he has been keeping his own statistics – how many times each party was allowed to vote. Let us recall that before the October elections, e.g. Confederation MPs were not allowed to watch TVP, and the statements of opposition MPs were limited to a minimum or were used to vilify a political opponent. TVP and TVP Info were directly used to promote a specific political option – in this case, PiS and President Andrzej Duda.
After the first week of broadcasting “7:30”, a lot can be said, but certainly not that anyone is deliberately omitted. The “political cake” of politicians of various stripes participating in the program is divided much more fairly than before.
In the first two editions (December 21 and 22), PiS and KO were on equal terms, and the Third Way clubs were also on equal terms with each other. After seven years, people learned about the existence of the Confederation, but there is no representation of the Left – sums up “Kucolog”, an analyst on Twitter.
On December 24, PiS had even more “screen time” than the Civic Coalition – but the existence of the other parties was not forgotten, thanks to which Law and Justice no longer looked like the hegemon of the political scene. However, when you look at the entire week of broadcasting, it is clear that the proportions roughly correspond to the results of the parliamentary elections:

Guests from the opposition (KO, Left, PSL, Kukiz’15) – only 114. And these are only the guests from these four parties combined. No one from the Confederation was invited.

It is easy to believe the intentions of MPs who are currently defending the media against a “government attack”. It is also easy to forget what the media looked like during PiS times, because sometimes it is hard to believe that they could have looked like this. However, hard numbers indicate that Law and Justice has turned the public media into its own private propaganda mouthpiece. .
