As usual, the recent field challenge of Masterchef Celebrity Ecuador (Teleamazonas) was developed in teams. The winner of this Wednesday, December 27, was the group led by José Andrés Caballero.

The slogan of the challenge was prepare a three-course meal (starter, main course, dessert) for 40 dinners, which are part of its production reality kitchen.

The 18 participants were divided into three teams. Andrés Crespo, Macarena Valarezo, Yilda Banchón, Cecilia Cascante and Gigi Mieles prepared the Greek salad, pincho and pita bread starter under Anthony’s guidance.

Felipe Carrera, Daniel Beta, Sergio the ice cream man, José Pacheco and Raúl Santana, led by Jalal Dubois, were in charge of the main course, pork in orange sauce with mashed potatoes and cooked salad.

Finally, directed by José Andrés Caballero, Susi Hidalgo, Paty Terán, Hellen Quiñónez and Nikki Mackliff took on the task of creating the dessert, a crumble of apples and peaches with vanilla crème anglaise.

Ultimately, the guests chose the proposal from José Andrés Caballero’s team. “Grateful to my colleagues, because the plating was chaotic, but the flavors were defined.”

In second place was the team led by Jalal Dubois. The group led by Anthony Swag was the loser of this test and all its members were at risk of elimination. According to Anthony, they were disadvantaged by the entrance. However, as captain he chose that dish.
