The cult hero returns to the screen. We will see the adventures of Zorro in January

The fencing master in a black mask, a hat with a huge brim and a cape returns. Many years have passed since the last film adaptation of Zorro, so it’s high time to remember about him. At the beginning of next year, he will appear in a series produced by Amazon Prime Video.

The self-proclaimed defender of the oppressed with a unique outfit has existed in pop culture for over 100 years. Although Zorro is a fictional character, the creators of the brand were inspired by the story of the Californian outlaw Joaquin Murieta. The character of Zorro himself was created by the writer John McCulley, and a year later he made his debut on the big screen in the film “The Mark of Zorro”, achieving great commercial success in 1920. Over the years, subsequent adaptations of the adventures of the sword-wielding swashbuckler have been made, and now he is finally back on the screen.
