The woman’s mother complained that they had a lot of photos hidden in the computer or on disks. She wanted her daughter to develop some and put it on the wall in a frame. A slightly different but, in her opinion, perfect plan immediately appeared in her daughter’s head, and she intended to implement it as soon as possible. She informed her husband Wojtek and started implementing it. A visit to grandma was necessary.

While visiting her grandmother, the girl was looking through old albums. She listened to her grandmother’s stories and asked about individual family members. Suddenly, a photo of her great-grandparents with their oldest granddaughter caught her eye. She had never seen it before, and Grandma was clearly confused when she saw the photo. She wanted to take them away from her granddaughter, but she didn’t want to give them back. She already saw in her head how the photo would look beautiful in a frame from her mother, among other old photos. Grandma didn’t like this idea, she said something about the aunt being very unlucky and that her granddaughter should be careful. Soon, however, things stopped being fun and strange things started to happen.

It started when a woman woke up one day and had a lot of blood between her legs. The stomach pain was unbearable. When her husband took her to the hospital, doctors said it was an early miscarriage. The woman was using contraception and had no idea she was even pregnant. Four months later a strange illness came. Doctors were still doing tests, but no one knew what exactly was wrong with the woman. Eventually it was determined that it was tuberculosis. The woman had many months of recovery ahead of her. Grandma still blamed everything on the photo. Her granddaughter’s life was very similar to that of her unlucky aunt. First a miscarriage, then tuberculosis, then a fatal train accident – this is how my aunt’s husband died, and as a result she took her own life. The young woman decided to burn the photo in the frame. However, when her husband called that his train had had an accident, but fortunately nothing happened, she was terrified. She called her grandmother. She told me to come immediately. They went to their uncle and burned the prints that remained. The next three years passed in fear. Wojtek and his wife have been parents of little Ania for 2 years. The aunt was never able to have children, so the hope that bad luck had abandoned them increased. The woman believes that giving birth has separated their family from the fate of their unlucky aunt once and for all.
