Probably every person in our country knows the chorus of this song by heart. Of course, it’s about “Who knows?” by the band De Su, which was released in 2000 and since then, every December, it is eagerly recalled by radio stations and played in shopping malls and cafes.
De Su’s Christmas hit is still popular today. Beata Kacprzyk still sings it on TV
It is one of the band’s only two hits, and the last released song of the girl group. De Su later suspended operations. Beata Kacprzyk was the first to leave, focusing on motherhood. Soon after, Daria Druzgała left the band, and Małgorzata Pruszyńska and Katarzyna Rodowicz wanted to shine in the world of music with a duo called 2Su, but without much success.
Beata Kacprzyk, who was the first to leave the group, decided to pursue an acting career and started studying at the State Theater School in Krakow. Shortly afterwards, she started appearing on television, where we could watch her in such series as “Commissioner Alex”, “Usta Usta” or “Sammo Życie”.
In recent years, she also managed to star in TV Puls series, such as “True Motifs” or “Kurierzy” on TV Puls. And in 2018, she even became a juror in the Polsat program “Let’s Sing Together. All Together Now”. However, by then, former singer De Su had found another job on television.
For several years, he has been running an interactive program “Klejnot TV” on the niche television Polonia 1, whose studio you can call and buy various types of jewelry or watches at risky low prices. It might seem that these types of teleshopping programs cannot attract viewers’ interest these days, but they are still broadcast.
Former singer De Su is currently encouraging people to buy jewelry, but at the same time making it clear that she remembers her musical past. At the end of one of the editions of “Klejnot TV” she decided to end the broadcast in a singing way, performing the already iconic “Who knows” for the Polonia 1 viewers.
