“My friend, the artist of the Rak cabaret Krzysztof Respondek, has passed away. I can’t add anything more,” wrote Hanke. Condolences poured in in the comments. The cause of death of the 54-year-old actor is unknown.
Krzysztof Respondek will be remembered mainly as a member of the Rak cabaret. However, by profession he was an actor. He graduated from the Acting Department of the State Drama School in Wrocław, and just a year later he made his debut on the big screen in the film “Magneto”.

In 1995, the actor received the “Golden Mask”, an award of journalists from the province. Bielsk, Częstochowa, Opole and Katowice for the role of Che Guevara in “Evita”. For years, the actor played at the Entertainment Theater in Chorzów.
The actor was also very well known to viewers of Polish series. From 1999 he played the role of Ewald in “Holy War”, and in 2006 he joined the cast of “Kryminalny”, where he played the role of Łukasz Strzelecki.
Respondek also had a role in the series “Inverted” and “Barwy Szczescia”, where he played Michał Jelenia. In “Who’s in charge here?” from 2008, he created the character of Krystian. He also appeared in the series “Agentki”, “For better and for worse” and “Hotel 52”. Later this year, he played Daniel Bitner in one of the episodes of “Commissioner Alex”.
