According to the presenters’ narratives, paying homage to previous decision-makers at the station, these and many other productions were to disappear from the schedule due to the revolutionary changes announced by the new government. “Wiadomości” also announced several times that viewers would have to say goodbye to their beloved game shows and even sports broadcasts. It is worth mentioning that the key changes in the schedule took place before the management changed and Mateusz Matyszkowicz was the president. Due to the decisions made then, among others: the premiere of new episodes of “Ojca Mateusz” was suspended, and a break in broadcast was introduced.

The first episode of the new news service “19.30” began with a reportage about the changes currently taking place on Polish Television. The host, Marek Czyż, reassured viewers by informing that the station’s new management makes decisions with its audience in mind and has no plans to liquidate productions that are popular. – Ladies and Gentlemen, Telewizja Polska offers not only reliable information, but also your favorite series, programs and game shows to which no one will take away your rights. We are returning to your homes. We want to return to those who have not seen a place for TVP on their remote controls in recent years – to the camera.
These words were also confirmed by the new president of TVP, Tomasz Sygut, who appeared in the material, denying the rumors. – Of course, no one will take down your favorite series that have been in your homes for 10, 20 or even more years. “M jak miłość”, this offer will of course remain – he argued. At the same time, he emphasized that he had specific plans for the schedule, which would soon be visible to everyone, regardless of their views. – There will also be many other attractive items, but it is true that some things will not be broadcast on Telewizja Polska. There will be no rudeness, there will be no harassment, there will be no exclusion. There will be community building. We will not divide, we will unite, he said bluntly.
